 section-by-section review of the 2018 alimony law and the amendment effect
 ive 9 July 2021. It will cover:\n \nWhat cases the 2018 law applies to and
  what law applies in the other cases\;\nBasic criteria for alimony and how
  that differs from the old law\;\nThe amount and duration formulas and rea
 sons to vary from them\;\nCohabitation and other reasons for termination o
 f alimony\;\nReimbursement & Social Security alimony-all new in 2018\; and
 \nImpact of the 2021 amendment.\n \nThere will be 3 practical exercises. W
 e will discuss each exercise as well as questions from attendees.\nPresent
 er: Honey Hastings\, who drafted both these bills.
